{Dessert Table} Melissa’s Baby Shower

November 4, 2011

Well I am very behind on my blogging and I cannot believe it is already November!!!  Here are some photos from a baby shower I did at the beginning of October.  Melissa’s friend Roslyn transformed her unfinished basement into a gorgeous baby shower complete with white sheer draping on all of the walls to create a whimsical feel.  We rented the draping panels, white linens and chair covers from Special Event Rentals here in Edmonton.   The rest of the linen, chargers, ceramic birds etc were all from my collection of rentals.  We also incorporated one of my signature dessert tables of course complete with a candy covered diaper cake!!  It turned out to be more of a candy table as they also had a cake for everyone to dig into!!!!

Pink and tiffany blue chair covers….

The table runner and napkins really pulled the color scheme together….

The party just getting started, everyone was blown away by the transformation of the basement….

Each place setting had a pink and blue cake pop favor….

Head table for the Mommy and Grandmas!

Gorgeous flowers made the room smell heavenly…..

I also created this candy chandelier that hung over the dessert table out of candy necklaces!

All in all, a very successful event and dessert table.  There was not one piece of candy left over!!!!
