{Dessert Table} Black and White Damask Bridal Shower
This most recent dessert table I designed for a bridal shower was over loaded with candy and was a big hit. The Bride was spoiled by her bridesmaids with an over the top black and white bridal shower. They had over a hundred guests attend the shower!!! If this is the bridal shower, I cant wait to see the wedding!

This table was a bit of a challange as the girls wanted only black and white candy. I never realized how hard it is to find black candy that isn’t licorice flavored!!!! Goodies included Peach Penguins, Blackberries, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Coke bottles, Old Fashioned Candy Sticks, Jellies bellies and much more!
The cake was Vanilla with a Coconut Italian Buttercream (Coconut is the brides favorite!)
Chocolate Mini Cupcakes and Chocolate and Vanilla Cake pops also made an appearance.
{LOVEinc Dessert Tables} *NEW WEBSITE*
Please take some time to check out my new and improved website! www.eventsbyloveinc.com .
I launched my new website a few weeks ago and have had to iron out some kinks but it seems to be working and better than ever! If you sent an email in the last few weeks and haven’t heard a response, please call me at 780-9520-8312. I have missed quite a few important emails and want to make sure no one thinks I am ignoring them! Also, I only book one event per weekend and I have recently had to turn down several events for this summer. I only have a few summer and fall dates left so book your party soon to avoid disappointment!
The new site has loads of pictures and easy to maneuver galleries. Here are a few screenshots of the new site but be sure to check it out. Enjoy!!!!
{Dessert Table} Little Man Baby Shower Dessert Table
I recently created this Little Man Mustache Dessert Table for Liz from Eee & Bee Photography here in Edmonton. She and her husband are both wonderful Wedding photographers who make up the Eee & Bee team. Check out their website and book them early for your wedding, their spots fill up fast! She recently threw an amazing baby shower for her sister in law and her new little man. She had the idea of a Mustache themed party and wanted a dessert table to match! My favorite parts were the vintage suitcase I found at a flea market and the Mustache Chocolate Pops!

Thanks to Liz at Eee & Bee Photography for the awesome photos!
{Dessert Table} Paris Themed Bridal Shower
This past weekend, I created a Patisserie for a paris themed bridal shower! I created the backdrop using blackboard paint and created the Patisserie out of chalk. There were loads of delicious desserts on the table and not one remained at the end of the party! Thanks to Catherine, the brides aunt, who hosted this wonderful fete. She is one lucky bride!

{Dessert Table} Tara & Nigels Rustic Wedding
I created this dessert table for Tara and Nigel’s gorgeous rustic wedding at Fort Edmonton. Elizabeth from Eee & Bee Photographers sent me a few great photos of the table. Check out their beautiful blog post of Tara & Nigel’s wedding here. I found a great weathered 7up crate at a flea market and combined that with burlap and twine for a rustic feel. The table featured my signature cake pops, pistachio and salted caramel macarons, chocolate chip cookie sandwiches, Oreo cookie cheesecake cupcakes, meringues, caramel shortbread cookies and cake bites. Congratulations to the beautiful couple, so glad I could be part of your special day!
The Edmonton International Airport opened their gorgeous new wing in February!!!! They gave away Aviation themed cake pops as part of their swag to the first 1000 passengers to depart from that wing.

Since the theme was aviation, I created several cake pops to match the theme. Below are cake pops designed to look like planes flying through the skies.

Here they are wrapped and displayed at the airport.

Propellor cake pops….

Suitcase cake pops….

Airplane cake pops…..
And the pops below were done in the different expansion colors…..

Here is the ribbon cutting ceremony….

And the first passenger!!!! Lucky guy!!!!
Some of the passengers enjoying the send off!
This is part of the brand new wing.
…And one last look at the cake pop table. Thanks to the EIA for their cake pop order. It was lots of fun to create these fun cake pops for your event!
Owl Themed Baby Shower
Well, I have been so busy the last few months that I have been neglecting my blog! I have lots of exciting projects coming up that I will make sure I blog about!!!! In the meantime, here are some photos of a recent baby shower I did for a very special Momma to be. The shower was inspired by this fabulous invitation that was created by Fresh Chick Design Studio. Check out their website or find them on Facebook!
Fresh Chick Design Studios also created all of these custom signs!

All of the food and the dessert table was set up in the gorgeous dining room.
The dessert table included cake, cookies, white chocolate lollipops and favors.
The top layer of the cake was vanilla with italian vanilla butterceam. The bottom layer was chocolate with white chocolate vanilla buttercream.
I made these “It’s a Boy” Lollipops from white chocolate.
Guests took home these fun cupcake in a jar favors
Guests wrote Words of Wisdom for Momma and Wishes for Baby.
The Diaper Cake was the centerpiece for the gift corner.
We hung a custom banner, custom signs and felt owls over the fireplace.
